Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Lekki, Lagos. This role is crucial for optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient flow of goods from suppliers to consumers. The ideal candidate will leverage data to identify trends, forecast demand, manage inventory, and contribute to strategic decision-making that enhances our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data, including inventory levels, delivery times, and production efficiency, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, reducing costs while ensuring product availability.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on supply chain performance.
  • Utilize forecasting techniques to predict demand and plan inventory accordingly, minimizing stockouts and overstock.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier issues, transportation delays, and demand fluctuations.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing supply chain technology and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards throughout the supply chain.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
  • Knowledge of inventory management and forecasting techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles
  • Previous experience in the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry
