Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Family Assistant to provide comprehensive support to a prominent family in El Paso. The ideal candidate will manage a wide range of household, administrative, and personal tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the family’s daily life. This role requires exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex household schedules and calendars, including appointments, events, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate and oversee household staff (e.g., housekeepers, gardeners, nannies) and external vendors.
- Handle correspondence, manage emails, and screen calls with utmost discretion.
- Assist with personal errands, shopping, and gift procurement.
- Plan and execute family events, parties, and social gatherings.
- Maintain household inventories and manage supplies.
- Liaise with financial and legal advisors as needed, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Provide support for children's activities and school schedules, including transportation arrangements.
- Manage household budgets and process invoices/expenses.
- Assist with special projects and other ad-hoc tasks as required by the family.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Family Assistant.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and standard office applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience with household budgeting and financial record-keeping.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
