Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Remote Payment Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to critical financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and verifying a high volume of payment-related data, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and accurately input payment data into designated systems, including invoices, transactions, and employee payroll information.
- Verify data for errors and discrepancies, correcting any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols at all times.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical records related to payment processing.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding data entry needs and issues.
- Adhere to established deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with data entry best practices and system updates.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role (minimum 1 year)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office workspace
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
