Job Description

Join Amazon’s dynamic team as a Night Shift Warehouse Operative in our Lubbock, TX fulfillment center. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the seamless flow of our operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately processed and dispatched. This position requires individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of performing physical tasks in a fast-paced environment during nocturnal hours. We are looking for self-starters who are committed to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents.
• Efficiently sort, scan, and stow products in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Operate various types of warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks) after receiving proper training and certification.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform routine quality checks on products and packaging.
• Assist in inventory management and cycle counting as required.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 49 pounds independently, and up to 70 pounds with assistance.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures, loud noises, and moving mechanical parts.
• Must be able to work a consistent night shift schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all operational guidelines.
• Basic computer navigation skills for inventory systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar production environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or scanners.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and adapt to changing priorities.
