Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Export Manager to join our dynamic team in St. Petersburg. This critical role involves overseeing all aspects of export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and optimizing logistics processes to deliver exceptional service to our global clientele. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of international shipping, customs procedures, and market dynamics, with a proven track record of successful export management. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all export operations from St. Petersburg, Russia, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Develop and implement export strategies to expand market reach and optimize logistics.
• Ensure strict adherence to international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal departments to facilitate timely and cost-effective shipments.
• Prepare and process all necessary export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
• Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers and logistics providers.
• Monitor and analyze export performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide expert guidance on export procedures, tariffs, and trade agreements to internal teams and clients.
• Manage customer relationships related to export activities, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Train and mentor junior staff on export best practices and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as an Export Manager or in a similar international trade role.
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
• Strong understanding of Russian and international export documentation requirements.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Russian languages (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience with specific customs software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Certifications in international trade or customs brokerage.
