Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Consultant to join our dynamic team in Gatineau, Quebec. This role offers an exciting opportunity for talented professionals globally, as visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. As a Workday Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday solutions for our diverse client base. You will leverage your expertise in Workday HCM to optimize business processes, provide strategic insights, and ensure successful system implementations. This position requires a deep understanding of Workday modules and a passion for driving transformation through technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in Workday HCM implementation projects from discovery to post-go-live support.
- Gather and analyze client business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
- Configure Workday modules including Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, and Reporting.
- Develop and execute test plans, ensuring the quality and integrity of Workday configurations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on Workday best practices and system capabilities.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical developers and project managers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues, providing ongoing support and optimization.
- Stay current with Workday updates, releases, and new features to provide continuous value to clients.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM implementation or support.
- Strong proficiency in at least two Workday modules (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Compensation).
- Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into Workday configurations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certification in one or more HCM modules.
- Experience with large-scale Workday deployments across multiple industries.
- Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIBs, Report Writer, and Calculated Fields.
- Previous consulting experience with a focus on HR technologies.
- Master's degree or relevant professional certifications.
- Fluency in both English and French.
