Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Workday Consultant to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia. This role is open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship and offers a unique opportunity to work on complex Workday implementations and optimizations for a diverse portfolio of clients. As a Workday Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and deploying Workday solutions across various modules, ensuring alignment with client business processes and strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver high-quality, impactful results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Workday implementation and optimization projects, focusing on HCM, Financials, Payroll, or other relevant modules.
- Conduct client workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into Workday functional specifications.
- Configure Workday solutions, including business processes, security, reports, and integrations.
- Develop and execute testing strategies, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide post-implementation support and ensure successful knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Workday functionality and best practices.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the growth of the Workday practice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday releases and new features.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday implementation or support projects.
- Proficiency in at least two Workday modules (e.g., HCM Core, Benefits, Absence, Payroll, Financials, Recruiting, Talent).
- Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, or Financial business processes.
- Experience with Workday report writing, calculated fields, and EIB/Studio integrations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a client-facing consulting environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science).
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certification in one or more modules.
- Experience with Workday deployment methodology.
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Prior consulting experience with a major firm.
- Experience with data conversion and migration activities in Workday.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
