Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workday Consultant to join our dynamic team in Boulder, Colorado. As a Workday Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting Workday solutions for our diverse portfolio of clients. You will leverage your expertise in Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, or other modules to transform client HR and finance processes, driving efficiency and enhancing user experience. This role demands a strong understanding of Workday’s capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in Workday implementation projects, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
- Gather and analyze client requirements, translating them into effective Workday solutions.
- Configure Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking) to meet specific business needs.
- Develop and execute test plans, ensuring the integrity and functionality of Workday configurations.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients on Workday best practices and functionalities.
- Collaborate with technical teams for integrations with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users and client support teams.
- Stay updated with new Workday features and functionalities, advising clients on adoption and optimization strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday implementation or support.
- Proven expertise in at least one Workday module (e.g., HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation).
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and their application within Workday.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with full lifecycle Workday projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certification in one or more modules.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting and analytics.
- Project Management experience or certifications.
