Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Work From Home Customer Onboarding Specialist. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for guiding our new customers through their initial setup, ensuring a seamless and positive transition to utilizing Salesforce products. You will act as a primary point of contact, providing expert guidance, conducting virtual training, and fostering strong relationships from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide new customers through the onboarding process for various Salesforce products and features.
  • Conduct virtual training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new customers during their initial setup and adoption phase.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and effectively escalate complex problems to appropriate internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with new customers to foster long-term success and satisfaction.
  • Gather and provide valuable feedback to product and engineering teams to continuously improve the customer onboarding experience.
  • Monitor customer adoption and engagement metrics during the initial onboarding period.
  • Create and update onboarding documentation, guides, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear, empathetic, and professional tone.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in a customer-facing role such as customer success, support, or onboarding.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, ideally Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).
  • High-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home office space.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with SaaS products and cloud-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or relevant Salesforce product certifications.
  • Experience in developing and delivering virtual training content.
