Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Website Usability Analyst to join our dynamic product team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our websites and digital products offer an intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable experience for users worldwide. You will conduct comprehensive usability testing, analyze user feedback and behavioral data, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance user satisfaction and achieve business objectives. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute a variety of usability research methods, including moderated and unmoderated usability tests, surveys, and A/B tests.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify usability issues, user pain points, and areas for improvement across various digital platforms.
• Develop and present clear, concise, and actionable recommendations to product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate user research insights into the product development lifecycle.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and flow diagrams to articulate user behavior and needs.
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new tools in usability research and user experience.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to usability and user satisfaction, reporting on progress and impact.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dedicated usability analysis or UX research role.
• Proficiency in various usability testing methodologies and tools (e.g., UserTesting, Hotjar, Google Analytics).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate research findings effectively to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Understanding of web technologies and user interface design principles.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
• Experience with eye-tracking or other advanced biometric usability tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in additional languages, particularly German.
• Experience with front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints.
