Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers and product teams to understand project requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, identifying and implementing solutions.
• Learn and apply new technologies and development methodologies under the guidance of mentors.
• Contribute to documentation of technical specifications and project progress.

Required Skills

• A genuine passion for web development and technology.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts (e.g., variables, loops, functions).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and committed to completing an apprenticeship program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with any front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) or back-end languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java) is a plus, but not essential.
• Completed A-Levels or equivalent qualifications, particularly in STEM subjects.
• Personal projects or contributions to open-source initiatives.
• Demonstrable interest in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
