Job Description

Join the UPS team as a Warehouse Worker in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. In this vital role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth and efficient flow of packages through our distribution center. Your efforts will directly support UPS’s promise of timely and reliable delivery, ensuring that our customers receive their packages with care and precision. This position involves physical work in a fast-paced environment, requiring dedication and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles and trailers, ensuring proper handling and placement.
• Sort packages by destination and prepare them for delivery or further transit.
• Scan packages accurately using handheld devices and enter data into the system.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (with proper certification/training, if applicable).
• Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs (with assistance for heavier items).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often standing or walking for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor role.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
• Familiarity with UPS operational procedures and safety standards.
