Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, storing, and distributing goods efficiently and accurately.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and promptly.
- Picking and packing customer orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if necessary).
- Performing regular inventory counts and maintaining accurate records of stock movement.
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised, and safe at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Adhering to all operational guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity targets and operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or order pickers (certification a plus).
- Basic computer literacy for scanning, data entry, and inventory systems.
