Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and efficient Warehouse Support Staff to join our dynamic team in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the daily operations of our distribution centre, ensuring the smooth movement and storage of goods. Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting, and accurately storing incoming merchandise and materials.
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards and deadlines.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training will be provided if necessary).
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
• Assisting with regular inventory counts, stock rotation, and quality control checks.
• Adhering to all safety protocols, company policies, and provincial regulations.
• Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals and targets.
• Reporting any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to consistently lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift.
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite in Summerside.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar industrial environment.
• Experience operating various warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, electric pallet jack) with valid certification.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
• First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
