Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipper / Receiver to join our team in Tampa, FL. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in logistics and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and shipping merchandise, ensuring all processes adhere to company standards for safety and efficiency. No prior experience is needed, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Inspect merchandise for damage or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.
- Accurately sort, label, and store received products in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling products according to shipping instructions.
- Load and unload trucks safely, using appropriate equipment and following safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory management.
