Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our warehouse team as a Shipper / Receiver. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for motivated candidates who are ready to learn and contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. No prior experience is needed as comprehensive training will be provided. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the movement and storage of goods within our state-of-the-art facility, ensuring efficient operations and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and report discrepancies.
- Unload and load trucks safely and efficiently, using appropriate equipment.
- Sort and organize products into designated storage areas.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling according to company standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, after receiving proper training and certification.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform routine inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, and carry for extended periods.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical labor role (even if not required, it's a plus).
- Familiarity with basic computer systems or handheld scanners.
