Job Description

We are looking for a diligent and efficient Warehouse Picker to join our dynamic team in Ikeja. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring timely and precise delivery of goods. This role is crucial to maintaining the flow of operations within our warehouse and contributing to our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
• Verify product numbers, quantity, and quality of items.
• Pack picked items securely for safe transit, adhering to company packing standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks on all outgoing orders.
• Assist with inventory management, including counting and stock rotation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills

• Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Certification to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Proximity to Ikeja, Lagos State.
