Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and physically capable individuals to join our team as a Warehouse Package Handler at our Lekki facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning packages efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from vehicles and conveyor belts with care and efficiency.
• Sort packages accurately by destination, size, or other specified categories.
• Scan packages using handheld devices to track movement and ensure proper handling.
• Lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 70 pounds (32 kg) frequently and safely.
• Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to prevent accidents and promote efficiency.
• Work cooperatively and effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy packages frequently and consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Basic literacy skills, including the ability to read package labels and understand safety instructions.
• Ability to work effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance and a robust work ethic.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods throughout a shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
• Previous experience (e.g., 6 months or more) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physically demanding environment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification not strictly required, but a plus).
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures and best practices in a warehouse or industrial setting.
