Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Assemblers to join our fast-paced fulfillment center in Southampton. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners and other equipment.
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, and organize warehouse inventory.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and vans.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy items (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
- Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Valid driver's license (if applicable for specific roles within the warehouse).
