Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operative in Savannah, GA! We are looking for dedicated individuals to support our day and night shift operations, playing a crucial role in our fulfillment center. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stowing, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. This is a physically active role within a fast-paced environment, ideal for those who thrive on teamwork and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive products, scan them, and place them into designated locations
- Pick customer orders by walking and standing for long periods, lifting products off shelves, and placing them into carts
- Pack items into boxes, ensuring proper labeling and preparation for shipment
- Operate various equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other machinery (training provided)
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and quality standards at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 49 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
- Basic computer navigation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment
- Experience with inventory management systems
