Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our Sacramento fulfillment center. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and on time. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices and order forms.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks.
