Job Description
We are looking for dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operatives to join our busy Manchester depot. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, sorting, and dispatching of parcels, ensuring that our customers’ goods are processed accurately and on time. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to teamwork and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Sort parcels into correct routes and destinations with accuracy.
- Scan and track parcels using handheld technology.
- Move goods within the warehouse using manual and mechanical handling equipment (MHE) as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock control as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical fitness for lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Forklift truck (FLT) license (reach, counter-balance) or experience operating MHE.
