Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Warehouse Material Handler to join our team in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. This is an immediate start full-time position crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our fulfillment center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials, contributing directly to our mission of delivering packages to customers efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Unload, receive, and store incoming materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
- Safely and efficiently move materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment as required.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and prepare them for shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of equipment and materials.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleaning and maintenance, to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to track inventory movement.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and ensure timely processing of orders.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 49 pounds.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Legal right to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., RF scanners).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
