Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Warehouse Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products, materials, and supplies throughout our fulfillment center. This is an immediate start position, perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to contribute to our operational success from day one. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe manner
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker or material handler
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems (or ability to learn quickly)
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification or experience operating other warehouse equipment
- Previous experience in a large-scale distribution or fulfillment center
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
