Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and motivated Warehouse & Logistics Specialists to join our dynamic team in Hamburg, Germany. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supply chain operations and logistics, who thrive in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluency in English is essential for this role, and no German language skills are required. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting various warehouse functions to meet our high standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to customer orders and deadlines.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse processes.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for data entry and tracking.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational role.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, data entry).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Valid forklift operator's license (or willingness to obtain one).
- Familiarity with international shipping procedures and documentation.
- Knowledge of safety standards in a warehouse setting.
