Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and motivated Warehouse & Logistics Specialists to join our dynamic team in Hamburg, Germany. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming goods, verifying against purchase orders and documentation.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to customer orders and deadlines.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred, training can be provided).
- Perform inventory control duties, including cycle counts, stock checks, and discrepancy resolution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for data entry and tracking of goods.
- Adhere to all quality control standards and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (minimum 2 years).
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal (essential, as no German is needed for this role).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and WMS interaction.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification (e.g., reach truck, counterbalance) or willingness to obtain.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP or similar.
- Previous experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a logistics setting.
