Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Warehouse & Logistics General Laborers in Mississauga. In this vital role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within our fulfillment center, ensuring that products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload inbound shipments, verifying accuracy against documentation.
- Safely and efficiently move products to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Pick customer orders accurately and prepare them for shipment, adhering to quality standards.
- Pack items securely, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks (certification may be required or provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs (22 kg) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic comprehension and communication skills in English.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) or willingness to be trained.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
