Job Description
This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics processes in Hamburg. As a Warehouse & Logistics Associate, you will be a key part of our team, responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to our commitment to operational excellence. English proficiency is a must, and prior experience in a similar role within a logistics or warehousing setting is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods efficiently and accurately.
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Performing regular stock checks and assisting with inventory reconciliation.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Ensuring the warehouse environment remains clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Collaborating with team members and other departments to optimize logistics operations.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 20 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and using warehouse management systems.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ year) in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain role.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery (forklift certification is a plus).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes.
