Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload packages from trailers, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, etc.) as required, following all safety protocols.
- Verify product counts and identify any discrepancies or damages, reporting them promptly.
- Organize and sort packages according to established procedures for efficient storage or onward shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout a shift.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar industrial environment.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
