Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Loaders/Unloaders to join our dynamic team in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This is an immediate start position for individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, handling inbound and outbound shipments with precision and care. This role demands a strong commitment to safety, physical stamina, and attention to detail, operating within a highly organized and supportive warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload vehicles, containers, and trailers using manual handling techniques and appropriate equipment such as pallet trucks and pump trucks.
- Accurately verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests, delivery notes, or other documentation, reporting any discrepancies.
- Organize and stack goods in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space utilization and ensuring product integrity.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all company and health and safety regulations.
- Promptly report any damages to goods, equipment, or facilities, as well as any safety hazards encountered.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational targets.
- Operate material handling equipment only if certified and trained, following all operational guidelines.
