Job Description
Join our fulfillment center team as a Warehouse Associate in Jacksonville, FL. We are looking for motivated individuals ready to hit the ground running with immediate start availability across all shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to product fulfillment, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of customer orders. This is a crucial role within our logistics network, contributing directly to Amazon’s commitment to customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack shipments of products and materials.
- Verify product quantities and check for damaged or missing items.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Perform inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move up to 49 pounds regularly.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
