Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our day shift team in Sunderland. This full-time position is critical to our operations, involving the precise handling, sorting, and preparation of parcels for delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Sort and organise parcels into designated areas for efficient dispatch.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if needed).
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including scanning, labelling, and loading onto vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 23kg) repeatedly throughout a shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Physical stamina and endurance for a demanding role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
  • Familiarity with scanning systems and inventory management basics.
  • Valid UK driving license (desirable, but not essential for this role).
