Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Full-Time Day Shift Warehouse Associate in Bradford. In this role, you will be an essential part of our logistics operation, responsible for ensuring that customer orders are accurately processed and dispatched. You will work within a supportive team environment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to manage inventory and streamline the fulfilment process. This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, picking and packing orders from stock.
- Locate products using technology, preparing them for shipment.
- Operate various machinery and equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, after receiving proper training and certification.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and quality control standards at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily targets and objectives.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 23kg.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Basic computer literacy for using warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment.
