Job Description
As a Warehouse Associate at Amazon in Regina, you will be an integral part of our fulfillment center operations, responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment across various shifts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are processed accurately and efficiently to meet our customer delivery promises. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring items are correctly matched and securely prepared for shipment.
- Operate essential equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently after proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to product handling and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
- Adapt to various roles and tasks within the warehouse as operational needs evolve.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 49 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights, if required, and performing repetitive tasks.
