Job Description

Join Amazon’s fulfillment network as a Warehouse Associate. You will be at the heart of our operations, helping us deliver to our customers. This role involves a variety of tasks including receiving products, picking customer orders, packing and shipping orders, and troubleshooting problems to ensure that our customers receive their items on time. We are looking for motivated individuals who can thrive in a physically demanding and fast-paced work environment, are committed to safety, and eager to learn new skills. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stow products in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Pack and label shipments, preparing them for delivery.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet jacks, if certified or after training.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and quality control measures.
• Troubleshoot problems and escalate issues as necessary to management.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting performance targets.
• Basic computer literacy to navigate internal systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment.
• Experience operating PIT equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
