Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and unpack shipments of products and materials.
  • Verify contents against shipping manifests and record discrepancies.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks using manual or power equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  • Operate machinery and equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, after proper training and certification (if applicable).
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and reach above head for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move products up to 49 pounds consistently.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Basic math skills for counting and inventory tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment (not required, but a plus).
  • Experience using an RF scanner or similar handheld device.
