Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack shipments of products and materials.
- Verify contents against shipping manifests and record discrepancies.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks using manual or power equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate machinery and equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, after proper training and certification (if applicable).
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and reach above head for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move products up to 49 pounds consistently.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment (not required, but a plus).
- Experience using an RF scanner or similar handheld device.
