Job Description
Join DP World, a global leader in logistics and supply chain, as a Warehouse Assistant in our state-of-the-art facility in Jebel Ali, Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods from trucks and containers.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Scan and track inventory using handheld devices or other warehouse management systems.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying packages.
- Pack and unpack items, ensuring they are stored safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Report any discrepancies or damage to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) regularly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.
- Basic communication skills.
