Job Description

We are seeking an impeccably organized and discreet Wardrobe Manager / Valet to manage the sophisticated wardrobe and personal effects of a high-net-worth individual within a private residence in Putney, London. The successful candidate will possess a meticulous eye for detail, a proactive approach to luxury garment care, and an unwavering commitment to privacy and personalized service. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in luxury fashion, garment preservation, and personal styling, ensuring all items are maintained to the highest standards and readily available.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all wardrobe items, including high-fashion clothing, accessories, footwear, and jewelry.
• Oversee the meticulous organization, storage, and presentation of all garments, ensuring proper climate control and protection.
• Coordinate and supervise laundry, dry cleaning, tailoring, and repair services with external vendors, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
• Assist with packing and unpacking for travel, preparing detailed lists and ensuring all necessary items are accounted for.
• Provide expert advice on garment care, styling, and seasonal wardrobe planning.
• Liaise with personal shoppers and stylists to integrate new purchases seamlessly into the existing wardrobe.
• Perform light pressing, steaming, and minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all personal and professional matters.
• Manage budgets related to wardrobe maintenance and external services.
• Ensure all personal items are handled with the utmost care and respect.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in luxury wardrobe management or as a personal valet, preferably within a private residence or high-end hospitality environment.
• In-depth knowledge of luxury fabrics, garment care techniques, and fashion trends.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems or meticulous manual record-keeping.
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid UK driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in fashion styling, textile care, or luxury personal service.
• Experience with bespoke tailoring and custom garment fitting.
• Fluency in additional languages relevant to international travel or fashion.
• Knowledge of luxury brands and designer collections.
