Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiters and Waitresses to join our esteemed hospitality team in Sharjah. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus clearly and informatively.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, offering recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor table activity to anticipate needs and promptly respond to guest requests.
- Clear tables, prepare for new guests, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a pleasant and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and service delivery.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Russian, Hindi) is a significant advantage.
- Experience in a fine dining or luxury hotel setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
