Job Description
Lionbridge is seeking detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join our global team as a Virtual Subtitles Creator. This is a 100% remote, contract position, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home. If you have a passion for language, an excellent ear for dialogue, and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply – no prior experience in subtitling is required! We provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in this role. As a Virtual Subtitles Creator, you will play a crucial role in making diverse audio and video content accessible to a wider audience. You will be responsible for accurately transcribing spoken words, identifying speakers, and ensuring that the subtitles are perfectly synchronized with the on-screen action and audio. Your work will contribute to high-quality content localization for our international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio and video content from English into precise written text.
- Create clear, concise, and grammatically correct subtitles.
- Ensure synchronization of subtitles with on-screen dialogue and relevant sound effects.
- Adhere strictly to project-specific style guides, guidelines, and deadlines.
- Review and edit your own work to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Utilize provided tools and platforms efficiently to deliver subtitle files.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening skills and native-level English comprehension.
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable internet connection and a personal computer.

Preferred Qualifications
