Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Virtual Social Media Comment Moderator to join our dynamic digital team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute to our online community from anywhere. Your primary role will be to manage and moderate comments across all MTN Nigeria social media platforms, ensuring a positive, respectful, and engaging environment for our users. You will be instrumental in safeguarding our brand reputation, enforcing community guidelines, and fostering constructive dialogue with our vast customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor and moderate user-generated comments and content across various MTN Nigeria social media channels (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Ensure all comments adhere to MTN Nigeria's community guidelines, terms of service, and brand values.
  • Engage with the online community in a positive, professional, and helpful manner, responding to general inquiries and comments.
  • Identify and escalate critical or sensitive issues, negative sentiment, or potential crises to the appropriate internal teams promptly.
  • Remove spam, offensive, inappropriate, or malicious content, and implement necessary moderation actions.
  • Help foster a vibrant and respectful online environment for all users.
  • Track and report on comment trends, user sentiment, and moderation activities.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform changes, and best practices in content moderation.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
