Key Responsibilities

• Format raw manuscript files into various ebook formats (e.g., EPUB, MOBI) using specified software and tools.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance checks on formatted ebooks to ensure accuracy, proper display across devices, and adherence to company style guides.
• Collaborate with authors, editors, and project managers to resolve formatting issues and implement feedback efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ebook standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital publishing.
• Assist in creating and updating formatting guidelines and documentation to streamline workflows.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in ebook formatting software (e.g., Calibre, Sigil, Adobe InDesign).
• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for ebook structure and styling.
