Job Description
Are you passionate about podcasts and YouTube content? Do you have excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail? Bell Media is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our growing team of content creators, specifically podcasters and YouTubers. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are just starting their professional journey and are eager to learn and contribute to the vibrant world of digital media. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, content scheduling, and audience engagement, helping our creators focus on what they do best: producing amazing content. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to work from anywhere in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist podcasters with episode scheduling, guest outreach, and show notes preparation.
- Support YouTubers with video upload management, title and description optimization, and basic tag research.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Perform administrative tasks such as email management, scheduling meetings, and data entry.
- Monitor social media channels for creator content and assist with basic community management.
- Conduct preliminary research for show topics, potential guests, or video ideas.
- Organize digital files and assets, maintaining an efficient and accessible system.
- Provide general support to content creators as needed to streamline their workflow.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with basic office software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with podcasting platforms (e.g., Libsyn, Buzzsprout) or YouTube Creator Studio.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- A genuine interest in podcasts, YouTube, and digital content creation.
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role.
