Job Description

Join The Andersons, Inc. as a Vineyard Worker and become an essential part of our agricultural operations. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals eager to work outdoors and learn about vineyard management and agricultural practices. No prior experience is required – we will provide all the necessary training to help you succeed. You will be responsible for a variety of hands-on tasks that contribute to the health and productivity of the vineyard. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general vineyard maintenance tasks, including pruning, training vines, and canopy management.
  • Assist with grape harvesting, both by hand and with machinery.
  • Support irrigation systems, including setting up, monitoring, and relocating equipment.
  • Participate in pest and disease control efforts under supervision.
  • Maintain vineyard infrastructure, such as trellises, fences, and roads.
  • Operate basic farm equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the vineyard team to achieve production goals.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.

  • Basic communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
