Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Remote Video Editor Assistant to join our dynamic creative team. This is an entry-level opportunity perfect for individuals passionate about video production and eager to learn the ropes of professional video editing. You will work closely with our senior editors and creative directors, contributing to a wide range of video projects for various clients. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to collaborate with a global team from the comfort of your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior video editors with various post-production tasks, including footage organization, logging, and basic trimming.
- Support in gathering and preparing media assets, such as music, sound effects, and graphics.
- Perform initial cuts and assembly edits under supervision.
- Ensure all project files are properly managed, archived, and accessible.
- Conduct research for visual styles, trends, and content ideas.
- Provide administrative support to the video production team as needed.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a remote team environment.
- A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in video production.
Preferred Qualifications
- A basic portfolio or examples of personal video projects (even if amateur).
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating basic titles or overlays.
