Job Description

Are you a creative and innovative UX/UI Designer passionate about crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences? GoDaddy is seeking a talented individual to join our product design team in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing user interfaces and experiences for our vast suite of products, ensuring they are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and user-centered. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to bring complex ideas to life, from initial concept to final implementation. We are looking for someone with a strong portfolio showcasing their design process, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of user experience principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Design and deliver pixel-perfect UI designs, prototypes, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, technical constraints, and business goals.
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability testing methodologies.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, with a good understanding of front-end development constraints.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to present your designs and articulate your design decisions to various stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field.
• Experience designing for large-scale web applications and responsive design.
• Familiarity with GoDaddy products or the small business/entrepreneur ecosystem.
• Experience with motion design or animation for user interfaces.
• Ability to conduct design sprints and workshops.
