Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute a wide range of user research activities including usability testing, interviews, surveys, field studies, and competitive analysis.
• Translate complex research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations for product teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define research objectives, hypotheses, and methodologies.
• Develop compelling presentations and reports to communicate research findings and influence product strategy.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of research practices and tools within the team.
• Mentor junior researchers and share best practices across the organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in UX Research or a related field.
• Proven experience with various qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, UserZoom, Figma for prototyping).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a related field.
• Experience working in the financial services industry or a highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Experience conducting global research across different cultural contexts.
• Portfolio demonstrating impact of research on product development.
