Job Description
Salesforce is seeking an experienced and innovative Technical Lead to join our dynamic engineering team in Carmel, Indiana. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, development, and delivery of critical features within our core product offerings. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of complex software features and services.
- Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product management, UX design, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Drive architectural decisions and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase.
- Contribute to the strategic technical roadmap and long-term vision of the product.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance of applications.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform future architectural and design choices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript (Node.js).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with Salesforce platform development (Apex, Lightning Web Components) is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) for full-stack leads.
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
