Job Description

Capgemini is seeking an experienced and innovative Technical Architect to join our dynamic team in Epsom, Surrey. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architectural vision for complex enterprise solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and tools to improve system performance, scalability, and security.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the implementation of architectural designs, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and development teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct architectural reviews and audits to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of architectural processes, standards, and documentation.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven, SOA).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architecture.
• Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
• Familiarity with various programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python) and development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and tools (e.g., API gateways, message brokers).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
• Experience in a client-facing consulting role.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
