Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our dynamic team in Gulfport, MS. This role is crucial for fostering strong relationships with our enterprise clients, ensuring their success with Microsoft technologies, and driving adoption of our cloud services. The TAM acts as a trusted advisor, understanding customer business needs and aligning them with Microsoft’s technical solutions. You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, proactive support, and technical insights to a portfolio of key accounts, helping them maximize their investment in Microsoft products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of assigned enterprise customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer business objectives, technical environment, and challenges.
- Provide proactive guidance and strategic recommendations on Microsoft products, services, and best practices, particularly within Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365.
- Coordinate with internal Microsoft teams (support, engineering, sales, consulting) to ensure timely resolution of complex technical issues and delivery of services.
- Drive the adoption and successful deployment of new Microsoft technologies within customer environments.
- Conduct regular business reviews and provide actionable insights to customers on their technology landscape and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and articulate opportunities for customers to gain additional value from their Microsoft investments.
- Advocate for customer needs and provide feedback to Microsoft product teams to influence future product development.
- Manage customer escalations and work collaboratively to ensure effective problem resolution.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and provide technical coaching to customer teams.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in a technical account management, consulting, or customer success role within the IT industry.
- Proven experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, or Dynamics 365.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex customer accounts concurrently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites or Microsoft events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or other relevant industry certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience working with enterprise-level clients and large-scale deployments.
- Previous experience in a role requiring visa sponsorship or supporting international teams.
- Master's degree in a relevant technical or business field.
